Anyone can have prominent ear surgery after the age of 6 years.
Since it is cut behind the ear, there is a thin scar. However, this trace disappears inside the ear folds or remains behind the ear. Thus, the patient is not disturbed.
Prominent ear surgery can be performed with different techniques depending on both the surgical technique and the structure of the ear. It is usually done by forming folds. Sometimes it can be done by removing the cartilage.
Bandages are worn for 3 days after prominent ear surgery. Then this bandage is removed and our patients return to their normal lives.
